Thanks to everyone on our food team, amazing ladies, our meal was a great success!! And that Tres Leches cake, Thank you Bev for making that!!mmmMm:)  Three dedicated men started at 12 already to get the meat ready for the evening!Thank you!! Pork Loin, Potatoes, Green Beans and a dinner roll was the main dish and then we had many ladies from different cultures prepare some of their own meals. From African, Asian, Karen, El Salvador, Hoduran, Mexican and what else I might be forgetting..Lots of Food! Everyone got a little "taste" of culture that night. Decorating team and Flower Shop did a great job with getting our tables to look fabulous! We had all 47 tables filled plus many volunteers from BVU and elsewhere.. Thank you so much much for all those who gave their time to come help out at the banquet! You all did a fantastic job and especially you ushers..you did gREAT! We had around 375-400 people there total..including volunteers. The Bridge English students were recognized for their hard work and dedication in class, our key note speaker for the night was Dr. Duane "Chip" Anderson (President of Christ For The City International) who spoke on understanding culture, and our wonderful singing team worked out some pretty amazing songs. It all came together in such a way that we can say..God was in control! He has many plans for this City and we are all so excited to be part of his work. Thank you Brandy for taking all these pictures!!!:)

Somebody's down to their last dime
Somebody's running out of time
Not too far from here
Somebody's got nowhere else to go
Somebody needs a little hope
Not too far from here
And I may not know their name
But I'm praying just the same
That You'll use me Lord to wipe away a tear
Cause somebody's crying
Not too far from here

Somebody's troubled and confused
Somebody's got nothing left to lose
Not too far from here
Somebody's forgotten how to trust
Somebody's dying for love
Not too far from here
It may be a stranger's face
But I'm praying for Your grace
To move in me and take away the fear
Cause somebody's hurting
Not too far from here

Help me Lord not to turn away from pain
Help me not to rest while those around me weep
Give me Your strength and compassion
When somebody finds the road of life too steep

Somebody's troubled and confused
Somebody's got nothing left to lose
Not too far from here
Somebody's forgotten how to trust
And somebody's dying for love
Not too far from here
Now I'm letting down my guard
And I'm opening my heart
Help me speak Your love to every needlful ear
Someone is waiting not too far from here
Someone is waiting not too far from here

The Chorus of this song..

What if there’s a bigger picture?
What if I’m missing out?
What if there’s a greater purpose
That I could be living right now
Outside my own little world
My own little world

Father break my heart for what breaks Yours
Give me open hands and open doors
Put Your Light in my eyes and let me see
That my own little world is not about me

[Verse 1]
You're the God of this City
You're the King of these people
You're the Lord of this nation
You are

[Verse 2]
You're the Light in this darkness
You're the Hope to the hopeless
You're the Peace to the restless
You are

There is no one like our God
There is no one like our God

[Chorus]
For greater things have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
Greater thing have yet to come
And greater things are still to be done in this City
