E A S T E R !!!!!

Wow!! This is my first blog ever!! Sooo exciting! ;)

Well Easter weekend just passed and it was a very special Easter this

year..It started off on Friday (Good Friday) it was a dreary rainy

cloudy day out. Perfect for what Good Friday represents.

The service we had at church and the worship..just thinking

about the torture our Savior went through is heartbreaking and makes you wanna cry..He took ALL that just so we could be saved

 and be FREE in HIM! And yet sometimes I can't let go of things

that hurt me or burden me or worry me or made me bitter..Unforgiveness..It's like walking around in chains..ugh It's awful..but as our message said It's only Friday....

                but Sunday's coming..

         and SUNDAY CAME!!

  It was a beautiful Sunny warm day out also

beautifully fit for the day that Christ arose from

the dead!! conquerring even death...

He can FREE us and take all the hurt we've taken..all the pain..the bitterness

the unforgiveness we have and give us peace..

We can't do it on our own..  I tend to forget that all I need to do is have faith and pray to God..

Nothing is too big or too small or too wierd or too bad that he can't take care of..

NOthing is impossible for God!!=) I'm learning to trust Him. There's nothing like having the peace of Christ in you..He can make all your burdens lighter. 

What made this Easter so special too

 is that we had some very special moments in our family throughout

 the day.. One of them being that my sister got baptized!!

It was a

very emotional time and very special for her as well as the

rest of the family..It was very exciting! She is a

special person and  we love her very much! I'm soo happy for you Linda!! 

So we had a barbeque for lunch followed with some fun activities for the kids..

Of course an Easter egg hunt was in order as well as the dyeing of some hard boiled eggs...
